As a gay woman who grew up in dance studios, I know firsthand how language can really shape the development of LGBTQIA+ adolescents. It is important to me that dance studio faculty and staff feel more comfortable and prepared- not shamed or called out. Dance studios are uniquely positioned in the processes of children’s development. 

Frequently, studios find themselves creating comfortable, safe environments; where dancers feel they are able to experiment with their self-expression in ways they may not feel safe doing so in other places.

 

I am able to help train and educate you and your staff in a variety of ways. I am also available to help craft and review procedures, policies and dress codes.
